Introduction
Hello. I'm David Daniel Turner. I was born and raised in the Thumb region of Michigan. I have lived in Texas since 2009, and in Houston since 2016.
I married my wife, Paola Bazavilvazo Turner, in 2013. She works in Nursing Management for a major oncology research hospital.
I have worked as a photographer's assistant. I've worked as graphic artist and a designer. I've worked as a draftsman's assistant doing site surveys and construction take-offs. I've worked construction; including hanging sheetrock and siding. I've worked live audio. I've consulted on streaming video. I've designed data networks and performed IT work. I've built PCs and I've built and configured servers. I've produced video. I've built websites. I've worked trade shows and I've planned events. I've been the new guy, and I've managed departments.
If I am an expert at doing anything, it's at doing a little of everything while pursuing excellence at all times.
Current Work
I currently work with Nation-2-Nation, an international non-profit organization based out of Harlingen, Texas, with offices in Houston. I serve as the organization's Treasurer and Finance Director. And I manage the organization's "Technical Arts" Department, which includes a Web Development and IT team, a Video Production team, and a Publishing and Graphics team.

My educational background is in Architecture and Business. I attended Baker College of Flint for four years studying Business and Architecture. And I took one year of Business and Accounting courses with Liberty University.

Photography
I'm a semi-professional photographer. My best work is landscapes and wildlife photography, but my background is in event photography. Some of my photography can be viewed on my 500px account.
Much of the work featured comes from my travels in the American West, East Africa, and South-East Asia.

Nation-2-Nation
I've been working with Nation-2-Nation since 2009. In that time, I've led the technical development of a multi-lingual video-based Leadership, Theological, and Community Development curriculum which has been used by tens of thousands of church and community leaders around the world.
Since taking on the role of Finance Director, I've also taken a leading role in the administrative development of the organization which has over 16 paid staff and dozens of regular volunteers.
